Vigilant Watch Responsibilities | Guild Rank: Banker

A bank officer is an extremely important & detail oriented position within Vigilant Watch. You will be have access to all guild bank tabs and all alt guild banks.

With this access comes a lot of responsibility. You will be responsible for handing guild bank requests in a professional manner. This includes knowing how to find out the value of an item. Knowing the guild policies for handling specific items.

It also involves a lot of people skills as you will have to communicate to guildees in a professional, respectful, and thorough manner. Most often your response to bank item requests will be no. But how you tell them makes all the difference in the world as to how this is received.

    Proper Examples of No

“No, I am sorry but those items are saved for our raiding teams and raid leaders. But we do have the exchange and gems tabs that are available to you for your current toon. Donate when you can – no rush & no pressure.”

    or

“No, I am sorry but items in the GB are not for sale. But we do have the exchange and gems tabs that are available to you for use with your current toon. Donate when you can – no rush & no pressure.”
Processing items from the donations tab takes a lot of experience and knowledge in being able to lookup and identify the value of items.

    Here are some basic guidelines
(There are no 100% concrete rules and common sense will always prevail.)

Low Level Gear (less current content max level) – Usually sell to vendor and deposit Gold in GB.
Current Level Greens – DE for enchant mats – email to metalbeast
Current Level Blues – Usually placed in the exchange tab
Current Level Purples – place in GM tab or GM Assist depending on rarity

Donated items that already have a place in Raid 1, Raid 2, or crafting can be moved from donations directly to where they belong.

Popular RP party items are stored in Vigilant Watch 2 Guild Bank.

Most low level items will be vendored for gold and the gold depositied in the guild bank.
Assorted pets and fun stuff is moved from donations to exchange in stacks of one.
If you are not sure about an item, just leave it in donations and Seesha will process it later.
    Detailed Guild Bank Tabs Descriptions:

Donation Tab – Used for all guild donations. This is protected as only bank officers, GM Assists, and GMs can withdraw from this tab.

Exchange Tab – Accessible to Members, PVE, PVP, & Raiders – Contains a variety of interested thinks for guildees. Most guildees can withdraw one item per day from the exchange tab. These withdrawls are meant to be used to help guildees. These are not used to sell on AH. Please check the activity log occassionally for abuse.

Gems Tab – Accessible to Members, PVE, PVP, & Raiders – Contains a variety of popular gems. As a banking officer it is your job to help move single gems from the raid 1 or raid 2 tab and keep them here. Please keep stack size to 1 to protect from GEM theft.

Crafting – Accessible only to GM Assist, Bank Officers, and GM. Designed as a temporary staging area from current mats that are donated to the donation tab. We typically process items in here every couple days by sending them bulk mats to crafters to convert. (ie Elementium Ore to Elementum Bars, etc)

Raid 1, Raid 2 & Raid 3 – See guild info tab in game for specific current permissions.

GM Assist – This tab is available to our GM Assists.

GM – Most valuable assets. Only metalbeast can withdraw.
